This Privacy Policy explains how ChatKundali (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using ChatKundali, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We collect only what we need to generate your reports and run your account:

  • Account details: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
  • Birth details: the date, time, and place of birth (including latitude/longitude) you enter to generate a kundali, matching, or panchang. If you save other people’s details for instant reports, that information too.
  • Profile information: an optional profile photo and phone number you choose to add.
  • Generated reports: the kundali, matching, and panchang reports you generate are saved to your history so you can view them again.
  • Technical data: basic request metadata (such as IP address and timestamps) needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To calculate and deliver your astrology reports.
  • To create and manage your account, verify your email, and reset passwords.
  • To provide your report history and saved-people features.
  • To operate premium features and record purchases or admin-granted access.
  • To improve accuracy and quality of our calculations and content.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in (an authentication token) and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal data only with trusted providers that help us run the Service:

  • Email delivery: we use an email service to send one-time verification and password-reset codes to your address.
  • Google Sign-In (optional): if you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile (name, email, photo) with us to authenticate you. Your use of Google is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
  • Legal & safety: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users and the Service.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and report data for as long as your account is active. Reports you delete are removed from your history; anonymised calculation data may be retained to maintain and improve the accuracy of our engine. You can request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You can access and update your details from your Profile, change your email (with verification) or password, view and delete items from your history, and request deletion of your account. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection laws; contact us to exercise them.

8. Children’s Privacy

ChatKundali is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
